What Equipment Do I Need?
FirePage Ohio® currently can send calls to a pager. In a
short time, we will be adding capability to send FPO calls to any device
with an email address. This includes Palm Pilots, Cell Phones, Email
accounts, and Pagers. Check with your local pager or wireless service
provider for more information and to see their wide assortment of
wireless devices.Q. Does
that mean I have to run out and buy a new pager or cell phone to use
your service?
A. No. If you already have a pager or cell phone, you may already have
email capabilities for it. Try sending an email to your device. For
example if you use Ameritech, try <pagernumber>@pager.ameritech.net.
If you use Arch Wireless, try <pagernumber>@epage.arch.com or <pagernumber>@archwireless.net.
If you use Cellular One, try <cell number>@mobile.celloneusa.com.
If you use T-Mobile, try <cell number>@tmomail.net. You can also call or check out your service provider's web site to see
about your pager or cell phone's email address |
